The Ruinart Brut, visually, is radiant and crystalline with a shimmering yellow colour and golden hues. The brut is a delicious blend of 40% chardonnay, 55% pinot noir and 5-10% meunier that are handpicked in Côte des Blancs vineyards. It’s the best drink to serve as aperitif or for an all-champagne meal. It’s also perfect to relish with pan-fried scallops, sole meuniere or other delicate dishes.
The Tasting Notes
The palate is harmonized and fresh with a long-lasting airy line of bubbles. Initially, the nose is fresh, fruity and delicate giving out the complexity from pear, apples, apricot, almonds and hazelnuts. The extra hint of complexity continues on the tongue with white flower, Viennese pastry and buttered briochenotes. The mesmerised aromas of ripe green fruit and citrus are supported bygood acidity and a long, persistent finish.
The balance and roundness are wonderful mouthfeels that are created from the remarkable proportions of chardonnay, pinot noir and meunier. This Ruinart champagne is absolutely rich, fruity, intense and fresh.
