Dark Matter Spiced Rum is the taste equivalent of warping into a liquid black hole but without every atom in your body being crushed to an infinitely small point. Produced by two brothers, Jim and John Ewan and ex-Rum Distiller from New York, Cory Mason. It’s the first and only rum to be produced in Scotland. Made with only the finest, fresh ingredients and some serious attention to detail. It is a molasses based rum that features full-bodied notes of long pepper, fresh ginger, green peppercorns, and allspice.
Last month, Dark Matter won a gold medal at The Spirits Business’s The Rum Masters competition, a serious gong handed out to only a few winners each year and much sought after by rum distillers everywhere. Not a bad result for Scotland’s first Spiced Rum.
